How to reach to balos lagoon

Getting to Balos with an ATV is not only fun, but also the smartest way to enjoy the route safely and comfortably.

1. Start from Kaliviani Village

You’ll begin your trip directly from our rental location — we’re just at the edge of the dirt road that leads to Balos Beach.

2. Enter the Off-Road Trail

Follow the gravel road that climbs along the edge of the Gramvousa peninsula. The views are wild and breathtaking..

3. Scenic Ride (30 minutes)

Enjoy the ride — ATVs are built for this terrain. You’ll pass goats, cliffs, and stunning panoramas all the way.

4. Reach Balos Parking Area

Once at the top, park your ATV at the public parking. From there, a 20-minute downhill walk takes you to the famous Balos Lagoon.
